Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer
Alex is a lifelong learner and passionate about holistic health and wellness. She completed a BSc in Human Kinetics and a Masters in Social Work. Alex always wondered how these two worlds connected until she found yoga. Through yoga, Alex has found a deeper sense of self compassion and body awareness and she aims to share this gift with others. A graduate of Yoga Tree’s 280 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, Alex’s classes are informed by Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha Traditions. Alex brings carefully curated music and a light hearted energy to her classes. Alex works alongside her students to build mastery by focusing on breathing practices, foundational postures and emphasizing safe alignment. Alex also has training in trauma informed yoga and integrates her knowledge as a Clinical Social Worker to help her students feel safe, present and in control of their practice. Be ready to sweat, breathe, flow and become more present in mind, body and spirit both on and off the mat.
